"Playing all the matches at Groupama Stadium from 2025-26 is not a challenge, it's a real strategic choice. If you play in a 4,000-capacity stadium, you'll reach a maximum of 4,000 spectators. On the other hand, in a 59,000-capacity stadium, you can hope to fill up to 59,000 seats. So the ambition is clear. We're going to work in all directions to attract the different targets we've identified. For example, we're targeting women's footballers, who number around 15,000 in the women's football network. If we include their parents and entourage, that represents between 100,000 and 150,000 people, which is a major target," said Vincent Ponsot, CEO of OL Lyonnes (Arkema Première Ligue), to News Tank Football on 10/06/2025.

The executive was speaking three weeks after he and Michele Kang, the American owner of OL Lyonnes, presented the club's new identity and its major strategic directions from 2025-26.
