FIFPRO Europe: David Terrier (UNFP) re-elected president for four years

David Terrier, president of the UNFP since 12/10/2024, has been re-elected president of FIFPRO Europe for a further four years at the general assembly of the global players union's European division, held in Stockholm (SWE) on 11/06/2025.

The Frenchman succeeded Englishman Bobby Barnes, who stepped down halfway through his term of office, on 14/03/2023.

Over the past two years, David Terrier has succeeded in strengthening the ties between FIFPRO and UEFA. "The door was barely ajar at first, but it eventually opened. The proof of this is the inclusion of our representatives on seven of UEFA's committees, as well as its positive responses to our requests to limit stoppages in play and increase the number of players on the lists for the last UEFA European Championship. Without being revolutionary, these are real advances for our players, who are subjected to workloads that have ended up being beyond comprehension.
