"We aren't worried about the current situation (regarding domestic TV rights for the Ligue 1 McDonald's). DAZN is in the process of breaking its contract, while beIN SPORTS has not yet done so. Everyone has their own contract and then it's up to the Ligue de Football Professionnel to do its job. In this period of uncertainty, having free-to-air exposure on Téléfoot remains extremely important for French football. No French football stakeholders would question that. Regardless of the situation, Téléfoot will continue to broadcast clips from Ligue 1 next season," said Julien Millereux, director of sports for TF1 Group, to News Tank Football on 10/06/2025.

LFP Media and DAZN announced that they had reached an agreement ending their dispute on 02/05/2025. Initially linked by a broadcasting contract for Ligue 1 for five seasons until 2029 (including an exit clause that can be activated at the earliest after two seasons), the parties have agreed to the early termination of this contract from the first year.
