Singapore: Eurosport acquires exclusive TV rights to the Champions League for 2015-2018

The pay-TV group Eurosport acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights, in Singapore, to the Champions League for the 2015-2018 cycle, on 23/04/2015. No financial details were communicated. Eurosport replaces the Singtel telecommunications group, the rightsholder for the 2012-2015 period.

Eurosport has the rights to broadcast all the matches of the Champions League, but will only broadcast on its TV channel, live, the best game on Tuesday and the best one on Wednesday, followed by summaries of the other games. All matches will be broadcast live on Eurosport's OTT platform (Eurosport Player), accessible on the Internet and mobile platforms.

  • UEFA Union of European Football Associations  and Eurosport did not specify whether the pay-TV group also held the rights to broadcast the 2015 to 2018 editions of the European Super Cup Game between the last winner of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. , as these rights are often sold together with those of the Champions League in most territories.
