FFF: "A provisional budget of nearly €300m" (Véronique Lainé, general treasurer)

"A provisional budget is not just a photograph, it's a lever, a compass. The budgetary context in which this budget is set is both stimulating and constrained. Stimulating, because we have reached a figure of nearly €300m, which is unprecedented for the Fédération Française de Football; constrained, because we have to control our costs, meet increased demands and improve our efficiency," declared Véronique Lainé, general treasurer of the FFF, as she presented the provisional budget for 2025-26 during the federal assembly held at the National Football Centre in Clairefontaine (Yvelines, FRA) on 14/06/2025.

Drawn up between January and May 2025, this projected budget for 2025-26 is based on an "unprecedented" amount of current revenue of €299.1m (compared with €283.2m achieved in 2023-24 and €288.8m forecast for 2024-25). "This is a remarkable and quite innovative figure, with a significant increase in partnerships, which account for 56% of resources (€167.5m, see infographic below)," explained Marc Varin, the FFF's financial director.
