Premier League: Twitter has an interactive map that locates the fans of the 20 clubs of the league

The social network Twitter presented "The Premier League Follower Map", an interactive map for locating the Twitter followers of the 20 Premier League clubs, showing which teams fare best in every country in the world, on 21/04/2015. The map also allows viewers to compare the global presence of two clubs to get an overview of the regional and national support for each team on Twitter.

In the UK, the map provides details of the presence of the supporters of each club by county. In the rest of the world, the ranking is only available by country, but gives a colour-coded picture of the clubs represented by region. This interactive map is the second launched by Twitter after the "NFL Fan Map" which presented the distribution of fans of the 32 franchises of the NFL, and which teams were most popular in every county in the United States, which was launched on 22/10/2014.
