France: Stade Rennais, Paris Saint-Germain & AS Monaco have the best training centres in 2024-25

The Fédération Française de Football's National Technical Department (DTN) and the Joint National Committee of the National Collective Agreement for Football Trades have published a report entitled "Effectiveness of French Training Centres", which evaluates the academies of 33 clubs in Ligue 1 McDonald's (18), Ligue 2 BKT (11) and National 1 (4) for the 2024-25 season on 16/06/2025.

In Ligue 1, the highest ratings were awarded to Stade Rennais FC (4.6 stars out of five), Paris Saint-Germain (4.53) and AS Monaco FC (4.08). In Ligue 2, AC Ajaccio (3.05), FC Lorient (2.88, promoted to Ligue 1 for 2025-26) and SM Caen (2.78, relegated to National 1) took the top three places.

The five criteria used to analyse each club are:
⚽️ professionalisation (U16s to U23s on professional contracts in the top two divisions of the top ten countries in the UEFA rankings and National 1);
⚽️ playing time in the first team for the club that trained them;
⚽️ national caps (international matches played by the player, regardless of nation);
⚽️ schooling (diplomas obtained during the previous season);
