Ligue 1 McDonald's: an average of 27,948 spectators per game (+3%) & an 86.7% fill rate in 2024-25

The 18 Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs posted an average of 27,948 spectators per game during the 2024-25 season, up 3% on the 2023-24 season (27,113 spectators). This is the best average attendance ever recorded by the French league, as indicated by the LFP on 19/05/2025.

The French top flight welcomed a total of 8.55 million spectators, compared with 8.26 million during the 2023-24 season. Despite a sharp rise in average attendance, Ligue 1 remains bottom of the European Top 5, behind LALIGA EA Sports (an average of 29,987 spectators per match).

With 63,553 spectators per game at the Orange Vélodrome (66,226 capacity), Olympique de Marseille remains the French club with the highest attendance in Ligue 1 in 2024-25, ahead of Olympique Lyonnais (50,994) and Paris Saint-Germain (47,673). OM rank 7^th (out of 96 clubs) among the clubs participating the European Top 5. OL are 20^th and PSG 23^rd.
