Basketball: Sky Italia renews its exclusive TV rights to the Euroleague & EuroCup for 2025-2028

The pay-TV operator Sky Italia has renewed its exclusive broadcasting rights to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup in Italy for the 2025-2028 cycle (three seasons), announced Euroleague basketball on 19/06/2025.

"This renewed three-year agreement further strengthens the collaboration between Euroleague Basketball and SKY Italia, which has been the official broadcaster in the Italian market since 2021. Under the new deal, Sky will provide comprehensive coverage of all games featuring Italian teams in both competitions, broadcasting them live on Sky and NOW (OTT platform), along with at least two additional EuroLeague games per week," said the body.

The agreement was concluded by the British agency IMG. IMG has been a partner of the Euroleague since 2016 with the creation of the joint venture "Euroleague Ventures". This structure is responsible, among other things, for marketing the TV rights to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the BKT EuroCup. IMG renewed its collaboration with Euroleague Basketball for a further 10 seasons, until 2035-36, on 07/01/2025.
