France: L'Équipe acquires TV rights to one Women's Champions League game per matchday from 2025-26

L’Équipe has acquired the free-to-air rights to broadcast one UEFA Women's Champions League game per matchday in France from the 2025-26 season as part of a multi-year agreement, according to the group on 19/06/2025.

The matches, which "will give priority to matches featuring French clubs as long as they are in the competition", will be broadcast on La chaine L'Équipe (free DTT). All matches will be broadcast on the Disney+ platform after The Walt Disney Company Group acquired the European broadcasting rights to the competition for the 2025-2030 cycle on 23/05/2025. Subscribers to the platform will be able to watch the matches at no extra cost.

UC3 also announced that it had signed several agreements with the EBU and other broadcasters for the free-to-air broadcast of one game per matchday of the competition in 30 European territories, including France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Norway and Sweden, on 23/05/2025.

The global TV rights (excluding the MENA zone and China) to the Women's Champions League were held by the OTT platform DAZN over the 2021-2025 cycle.
