Paris SG: NBA basketballer Kevin Durant acquires "direct minority stake" via his company Boardroom

Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), majority shareholder in Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's), has signed a "an investment and strategic partnership" with American basketball player Kevin Durant, under which the Phoenix Suns (NBA) player, via his company Boardroom Sports Holdings (media, sports and entertainment), acquires a "direct minority stake" in the Parisian club, announced the parties on 20/06/2025. This stake amounts to around 1%, according to the French sports daily L'Equipe.

The two-time NBA champion, who is also the only four-time Olympic gold medallist with Team USA (2012, 2016, 2021 and 2024), was in fact already a minority shareholder in the club, but indirectly through an investment by Boardroom in the investment fund Arctos Partners, which itself has held a 12.5% stake in Paris SG since December 2023.
