Premier League: an average of 40,385 spectators/game (+4.5%) & average fill rate of 98.2% in 2024-25

The 20 Premier League clubs recorded an unprecedented average of 40,385 spectators per game during the 2024-25 season, up 4.5% on the 2023-24 season (38,623 spectators) and slightly higher than the previous record set in 2022-23 (40,267). The English top flight welcomed a total of 15.3 million spectators, compared with 14.52 million in 2023-24. The Premier League is first among the European Top 5 leagues in terms of attendance, ahead of the Bundesliga (38,657 spectators).

With an average of 73,747 spectators per match at Old Trafford (74,879 capacity), Manchester United FC was the Premier League club that posted the best attendance in 2024-25, ahead of West Ham United FC (62,464 spectators at London Stadium) and Tottenham Hotspur FC (61,127 spectators at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium). The Manchester club is third among the clubs in the European Top 5 in terms of attendance, behind Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga, 81,365) and FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga, 75,000).
