DAZN: agreement with TelevisaUnivision to broadcast the Champions League in the USA over 2025-2027

DAZN has acquired Spanish-language broadcast rights to the UEFA Men's Champions League for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons in the United States under sublicense from Spanish-language group TelevisaUnivision, announced the OTT platform on 24/06/2025.

The deal includes the exclusive broadcast of 38 matches each season, as well as the co-broadcast of the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final with TelevisaUnivision. "DAZN will also secure rights to a comparable number of UEFA Europa League matches, guaranteeing a consistent offering of top-tier European soccer throughout every match week of the European season," said the streaming service.

TelevisaUnivision initially acquired the exclusive Spanish-language TV rights to the three UEFA European Cups (Champions League, Europa League and Conference League) in the United States for the 2024-2027 cycle on 16/05/2023.
