Twitter: AS Monaco exceed 500,000 followers and reward their "most committed follower"

AS Monaco (Ligue 1) crossed the threshold of 500,000 followers on the social network Twitter on 25/04/2015. The Monaco club are the fourth most followed French club on Twitter behind Paris Saint-Germain (2.153 million followers), Olympique de Marseille (1.422 million) and Olympique Lyonnais (645,000). AS Monaco are the 27^th ranked club in Europe on Twitter, according figures tracked by News Tank.

AS Monaco have launched several initiatives to celebrate the crossing of this threshold of 500,000 followers: "The most committed follower since the launch of the account" will be invited as a VIP guest when the team host FC Metz (Matchday 37 of Ligue 1), on 16/05/2015.

Two followers -- who will be drawn in front of the crowd for AS Monaco - Toulouse FC (Matchday 35 of Ligue 1 on 03/05/2015) -- will also blow the whistle to start the match against Metz. Two other Twitter followers -- chosen through a competition -- will jointly live-tweet from the official account of the club during the Olympique de Marseille - AS Monaco match (Matchday 36 of Ligue 1 on 10/05/2015).
