News Tank Football: elections, appointments & departures recorded in June

• Michele Kang (USA), owner of OL Lyonnes (Arkema Première Ligue), has been appointed chairwoman and CEO of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's), announced the club on 30/06/2025. She succeeded her compatriot John Textor, who has "resigned from his leadership positions at Olympique Lyonnais including the board of directors."

• Luigi De Siervo, CEO of Lega Serie A, has been unanimously elected vice-chair of the World Leagues Association by the 12 leagues that compose its supervisory board, announced the WLA at the end of its meeting held in London (England) on 26/06/2025.

• Henrik Köncke has been elected president of Hamburger Sport-Verein (promoted to the Bundesliga for 2025-26), announced the club at the end of its general meeting, attended by 1,500 members at the Volksparkstadion (Hamburg, GER) on 21/06/2025. Köncke succeeds Marcell Jansen, who had announced that he would not be standing for re-election.
