Spain / RFEF: record revenues of €407.3m and a net profit of €4m for the 2024 financial year

The ordinary general assembly of the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol, held at the Ciudad del Futbol Las Rozas (Madrid, ESP) on 30/06/2025, has approved the RFEF's accounts for the 2024 financial year, which show record revenues of €407.3m (compared with €363m in 2023) and a net profit of €4m (€8.8m in 2023), announced the body on the same day. This financial statement received 93% of the votes in its favour.

"Audiovisual rights (€117.6m) and sponsorship (€78.2m including merchandising), stemming from the men's Spanish Super Cup (held in Saudi Arabia) among other sources, account for almost half of the RFEF's revenue, which provides the basis for distributing resources to clubs and non-professional competitions (€84.6m), regional federations (€35.9m) and amateur football in general. The professional clubs also benefit from the income from their participation in the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup (€38.6m)," said the governing body, referring to the 2024 financial year, which was marked in particular by the election of a new president, Rafael Louzán, on 16/12/2024.
