"Meeting successively on Tuesday 01/07, the board of Ligue 1 club presidents, the LFP Media supervisory committee and the LFP board of directors unanimously adopted a major strategic project: the creation of a TV and digital platform entirely dedicated to the Ligue 1 McDonald's, managed and run by LFP Media," announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel the same day.

The platform will be accessible via a monthly subscription of €14.99 (with a commitment period). "This ambitious project marks a turning point for all French football fans. More immersive and supported by all the Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs, the platform will broadcast the ten best matches of the season from the start of the new season on 15/08, eight live games exclusively every day from Friday to Sunday, accompanied by a major magazine programme available - free-to-air - on Sunday evenings," explained the League, which must now conclude various agreements with operators for the distribution of the new service.
