Ligue 1 McDonald's: Groupama (insurance) extends as a sleeve sponsor of AJ Auxerre (2025-2028)

Groupama Paris Val de Loire, a regional branch of the French insurance group, has extended as a sleeve sponsor of AJ Auxerre (Ligue 1 McDonald's) for a further three seasons, from 2025-2028, announced the club on 02/07/2025.

The brand retains the status of major partner, the second level in the club's sponsorship hierarchy. Groupama has been involved with AJA since 2010 and displayed its logo on the back of the club's kit during the 2019-2022 cycle, before becoming a sleeve sponsor from 2022-23. In addition to its presence on the club's shirts, the French group has visibility on signage at the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps (17,500 capacity), where it has also been the title sponsor of a stand (since 2015-16), as well as on the club's digital platforms.

In France, Groupama (via its Rhône-Alpes Auvergne regional mutual company) has also held the naming rights to the Groupama Stadium (59,186 capacity, in Décines-Charpieu, Rhône) since 2017, in return for a fee estimated at between €5m and €7m per season, as well as to Olympique Lyonnais' training centre (Groupama OL Training Center) since…
