LALIGA EA Sports: a new brand identity for RC Celta de Vigo, renamed "Celta"

RC Celta de Vigo (LALIGA EA Sports) has presented a new brand identity "that reinforces its personality, delves into its roots, and projects its Galician and sky-blue identity with greater strength," announced the club on 07/07/2025.

As part of this initiative, the club will adopt the name "Celta" across "all brand-related communication spaces, coexisting with Real Club Celta, Celta de Vigo, or RC Celta as equally valid names." While this change of identity will hardly affect the club's crest with "only minor technical adjustments made to its design", a new "Sempre Celta" font has been developed for use by Celta on all its media.

The club is also changing its web domain and will be migrating all its digital platforms hosted on rccelta.es to celta.gal "in the coming weeks", which will further solidify "Celta's commitment to promoting the Galician language, culture, and identity in the digital sphere."

• The club is being supported in this initiative by the Summa consultancy agency, while the new font used by Celta has been developed by the designer Pedro Arilla.
