AJ Auxerre: X1 (energy drinks) succeeds Acadomia as main shirt sponsor for 2025-26

X1, a Chinese energy drink brand, has extended its agreement with AJ Auxerre (Ligue 1 McDonald's) to become the main shirt sponsor for the 2025-26 season, announced the club on 09/07/2025.

The brand, which has occupied the central pocket space on the club's kit since the 2023-24 season, will also benefit from visibility on signage at the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps (17,500 capacity), on AJ Auxerre's digital channels and "an original presence with two giant cans visible on the stadium's lighting masts," according to the Burgundy club.

X1 is the first Chinese brand to become AJ Auxerre's main shirt sponsor. This extended agreement "is part of the club's international development strategy, particularly in the country of James Zhou, president of AJA's board of directors," said the club.

The Chinese group succeeds the French tutoring company Acadomia, which has been AJ Auxerre's main shirt sponsor since the 2022-23 season (after appearing on the pocket space between 2019 and 2022).
