LFP: distribution, subscriptions, content... the Ligue 1+ platform to be launched on 15/08/2025

The Ligue de Football Professionnel will launch its Ligue 1+ streaming platform dedicated to broadcasting French top flight matches from the 2025-26 season on 15/08/2025 (on the occasion of Matchday 1 in the Ligue 1 McDonald's), announced the LFP on 10/07.

Ligue 1+ will offer eight exclusive live game per matchday, "accompanied by two major magazine programmes and the ninth match on a deferred basis (the live TV rights being held by beIN SPORTS France)," according to the LFP. The platform will also offer "exclusive and innovative club-related content during the week, including interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and original formats."

The LFP has signed agreements with telecoms operators Orange, Bouygues Telecom, Free, SFR and OTT platform DAZN for the distribution of its new product. "Ligue 1+ will be accessible to as many people as possible, on all your screens. The platform will also be accessible via OTT," added the French league.
