The German sports equipment manufacturer adidas has extended its contract to supply FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) until 2030, announced Oliver Brueggen, the director of public relations for adidas, on 28/04/2015. The current contract was due to expire at the end of the 2019-20 season.

The new contract is estimated at €900m, or €60m per year for the 2015-16 to 2029-30 period, according to the German magazine Focus on 28/04/2015. This amount would triple the previous agreement valued at between €20m and €25m for the 2014-15 season. adidas also holds 8.33% of the capital of FC Bayern München AG, the limited company the manages the club.

The extension of the partnership remains below the record kit supplier contract between adidas and Manchester United FC (Premier League). adidas, which will officially replace Nike as the kit maker of the Red Devils from the 2015-16 season, reached an agreement estimated at £750m (€1.049bn with today's exchange rate), or £75m per season (about €100m, depending on the exchange rate) until 2024-25, on 14/07/2014.
