OGC Nice: Fabrice Bocquet to succeed Jean-Pierre Rivère as president on 20/08/2025

Jean-Pierre Rivère, president of OGC Nice (Ligue 1 McDonald's) since 2011 (apart from a seven-month interlude linked to a change of shareholder before the arrival of Ineos in 2019), will step down from his post on 20/08/2025, from which date CEO Fabrice Bocquet will be promoted to president and CEO, announced the club on 11/07/2025.

This decision by Jean-Pierre Rivère is "fully respected by Ineos", the British chemicals group that has owned the club since the end of August 2019. The current vice president of the Collège de Ligue 1 will take on the role of ambassador for OGC Nice as well as that of president of the club's endowment fund from September 2025.

The promotion of Fabrice Bocquet, a "decision, taken by Ineos, reflects the continuity of the project led over the past few years and recognises the quality of the work he has accomplished since his arrival.
