UEFA Women's Euro 2025: 461,582 spectators for the 24 group stage matches, i.e. 19,233 per game

A total of 461,582 spectators attended the 24 matches in the group stage of UEFA Women's Euro 2025, an average of 19,233 per match, according to UEFA after the first round of the competition on 14/07/2025. 22 of these 24 matches were sold out.

Record attendance figures:
• record for a group stage match not involving the host country (beaten twice): 29,520 spectators for Spain - Portugal (5-0) in Bern and 34,165 for Germany - Denmark (2-1) in Basel;
• record for a women's football match in Switzerland: 34,165 spectators for Germany - Denmark;
• largest number of visiting fans at a Women's Euro match: over 17,000 Germans in the stands for Germany - Denmark.
• largest number of fans at a match for the Swiss women's national team: 34,063 spectators for the 1-2 defeat by Norway in Basel.

More than 600,000 tickets were sold in total, which is also a record for the competition, whose previous edition - Euro 2021, which was eventually played in 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic - sold 574,875 tickets, a figure that was unprecedented at the time.
