Panini, the Italian manufacturer of collectible cards and stickers, has obtained the license for the English FA until 2018, announced the two parties on 28/04/2015.

Panini will use the images and the official crest of the FA for its albums for the first time since the Euro 1996, which was hosted in England. The English national team will only appear on the next albums if they qualify for Euro 2016 in France and the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The Italian company plans to use the FA's license to create virtual albums.

  • The collectibles merchandise license for the Premier League is owned by Paninni's American rival Topps. The latter is also under contract with the Bundesliga as well as the major American sports leagues.
