Olympique Lyonnais: end of partnership with Dakar Sacré-Coeur (SEN) after a 10-year collaboration

Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's) and Dakar Sacré-Coeur (SEN) have announced the end of their partnership after 10 years of collaboration, on 16/07/2025.

The partnership, initiated in 2015, aimed to "perpetuate a local training model, inspired by the OL method", with efforts focused on the training of educators, support for the detection strategy or the organisation of advanced training courses in Lyon for DSC players, as well as the promotion of women's football.

The two entities had strengthened their partnership on 07/11/2023 thanks to the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), via the signature of a tripartite agreement that formalised the setting up of a "technical expertise and experience exchange fund (FEXTE)". This agreement was signed "with a view to the holding of the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar in 2026."
