Spain/Liga F: €52.5m in revenue (+31%) & deficit stable at €10.6m for the 16 clubs in 2023-24

The 16 clubs involved in the 2023-24 Spanish women's top flight generated €52.5m in revenue, up 31.3% on 2022-23 (€39.9m), and a cumulative net loss of €10.6m (virtually unchanged on 2022-23, -€10.5m), according to the report on the economic and financial situation of Spanish professional women's football, published by the Spanish Supreme Sports Council (CSD) in July 2025.

Advertising and commercial revenue is the main source of income for Liga F clubs, accounting for a combined total of €28.5m (54% of the total), ahead of "other revenue" (€8.1m, 15%), TV rights (€6.6m, 13%) and matchday revenue (€6.1m, 12%). The CSD points out that just one club, FC Barcelona (Spanish and European champions), accounted for 36.3% of the total revenue (compared with 35.7% in 2022-23), while 70% of total losses were generated by three clubs.
