Bundesliga: Jochen Rotthaus named director of marketing and communication of Bayer 04 Leverkusen

Jochen Rotthaus has been named the director of marketing and communication of Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga), the club announced on 28/04/2015. The club also announced a re-structuring of its organisation: on 01/07/2015, the subsidiary limited company Bayer 04 Marketing GmbH will be dissolved and integrated into the organisation of the limited company Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH.

Jochen Rotthaus, 49 years old, will be in charge of the newly organised Marketing / Communications department of Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH, and take up this office on 01/05/2015. Jochen Rotthaus is currently the CEO of the German hockey club Düsseldorfer EG, and was notably the CEO of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (Bundesliga) from 2006 to 2014, overseeing the club's rise from the Regionalliga Süd in 2006-07 (at the time, the German third division) to the Bundesliga in 2008-09.
