RMC-BFM: Ramon Fernandez appointed as president of the group after Nicolas de Tavernost's departure

Ramon Fernandez, currently CFO of CMA CGM, has been appointed president of the RMC BFM group (formerly Altice Media), announced the group owned by the shipping company on 21/07/2025.

This announcement follows the departure of Nicolas de Tavernost from the group's management. The former head of the M6 group has been CEO of LFP Media since May 2025 and "has decided to concentrate on the Ligue 1+ project," according to RMC-BFM. The Ligue de Football Professionnel will launch its own OTT platform dedicated to broadcasting Ligue 1 McDonald's from the 2025-26 season, on 15/08/2025.

Nicolas de Tavernost became interim CEO of the RMC-BFM entity in July 2024 after the group was acquired by CMA CGM. He stepped down from this position at the beginning of 2025, although he remains vice president of CMA Média (a subsidiary of CMA CGM, which includes RMC-BFM). Régis Ravanas, former CEO of audio activities for the M6 group, is now CEO of RMC-BFM.
