Olympique Lyonnais: agreement extended with Sword Group (IT), official partner for 4 seasons (2025-2029)

Sword Group, a Luxembourg-based digital services company, has extended its agreement with Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's) to become its "official technology partner" for four seasons (2025-2029), announced the club on 24/07/2025.

As part of this extended agreement, Olympique Lyonnais will outsource to Sword Group "part of the club's IT activities in the digital and data fields and, more generally, in the management of its information systems," according to the club, which intends to "strengthen its operational efficiency and agility and refocus its activities on football."

This agreement also includes a sponsorship component, under which the company will become a third level partner of Olympique Lyonnais. "This label is accompanied by various marketing activities, mainly focused on the technological aspects of the partnership, with the possibility of exploiting the many technical solutions deployed at Groupama Stadium. The Sword brand will also benefit from extensive visibility on the club's digital networks," added OL.
