Barça: Vissel Kobe match in Japan suspended due to "contractual breaches" by the promoter, then confirmed

FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) "has been obliged to suspend its participation" in the friendly match scheduled against Vissel Kobe (J1 League) in Japan on 27/07 "due to serious contractual breaches on behalf of the promoter," announced the club on 23/07/2025.

This match, scheduled at Noevir Kobe Stadium (30,000 capacity), was the first scheduled as part of the "Blaugrana Tour, Asia Edition, by Philips Ambilight TV" (named after the brand belonging to the TP Vision group, the club's partner), for which the Catalan team was due to fly out on 24/07.

FC Barcelona said that it "will consider readjusting the leg of the summer tour in South Korea, if certain conditions are met by the promoter. If these conditions are met, then the club will travel to South Korea in the coming days," continued the club. After Vissel Kobe, Barça were due to take on FC Seoul at Seoul World Cup Stadium (66,704 capacity) on 31/07 and then Daegu FC at Daegu Stadium (68,014 capacity) on 04/08.
