UEFA Women's Euro 2025 Final: head-to-head England - Spain in Basel (Switzerland) on Sunday 27/07/2025

England, ranked 5^th in the FIFA rankings and winners of the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on home soil, will take on Spain, 2^nd and reigning world champions, in the final of UEFA Women's Euro 2025 at the Parc Saint-Jacques in Basel (Switzerland, 35,689 capacity) on Sunday 27/07/2025 (kick-off at 18:00 CET).

The Football Association (The FA) posted a turnover of £551.2m (€654.3m) in 2023-24 and a total of 2 million licensed players (number of female licensees not specified), while the Spanish Football Federation (Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol, RFEF) posted a turnover of €407.3m in 2024 and a total of 1.2 million licensed players (including 109,874 women) in 2023-24.

As a result of their progress in the competition, the Spanish national team can already count on €3.35m from UEFA, compared with €3.25m for England, due to their poorer results in the group stage. The winning team will take home a further €1.75m, while the losing finalists will receive €850,000.
