UEFA: 66.8% of the 620,000 spectators at Women's Euro 2025 travelled to stadiums by public transport

414,000 spectators (out of a total of 620,000, or 66.8%) at the Women's Euro 2025, held in Switzerland from 02 to 27/07, used public transport to attend the matches in the eight host cities of the competition, according to UEFA on 24/07/2025. These figures include all matches up to and including the semi-finals.

In addition, 120,000 fans opted for active modes of transport (walking and cycling), bringing the percentage of fans who travelled to matches without using private vehicles to 86%. Notably, fan walks, events that bring fans together to walk to the stadium, attracted 95,000 participants.

"These achievements were supported by the deployment of over 400 bespoke additional Women's Euro trains, made possible through UEFA's partnership with SBB, host cities and federal authorities. The KombiTicket initiative, which bundled match tickets with public transport access, proved to be a cornerstone of this success," explained UEFA.
