Umbro will replace adidas as the official kit supplier to West Ham United FC (Barclays Premier League) for the next five seasons (2015-16 to 2019-20), announced the two parties on 30/04/2015.

adidas was under contract with the London club during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons. The German brand had replaced the Italian sports equipment manufacturer Macron (2010-11 to 2012-13). Umbro is also under contract with Everton FC and Hull City AFC until 2017-18.

West Ham generated £14m (€19.3m) in commercial revenue and £6m (€8.27m) in merchandising revenue in 2013-14.

Umbro is a historical partner of the Hammers

  • Umbro was the kit supplier to West Ham between 2007 and 2010, and was notably a partner of the club in the 1960s.
    • During this period, West Ham won the European Cup Winners' Cup (1965), the FA Cup (1964) and the League Cup (1966).
  • "It is our determination to bring back those glory days of the 1960s when we move to our magnificent new stadium, and we look forward to doing so in partnership with Umbro," said Karren Brady, the vice-chairman of West Ham United, on 30/04/2015.
