Formula E: ABB (technology) extends as title sponsor of the World Championship from 2025-26

ABB (Asea Brown Boveri), a Swiss company specialised in advanced digital technologies, has extended as the title sponsor of the FIA Formula E World Championship from 2025-26 for several seasons, according to Formula E Holdings Limited, the promoter of the competition, on 30/07/2025.

Formula E has been under contract with ABB since January 2018, in a deal valued at between €12m and €13m per season. In addition to visibility as the World Championship's naming rights holder, ABB has also been involved on the technical side, as a supplier of race chargers since 2022-23 and via the introduction of its power management software, also since 2022-23, as well as its uninterruptible power supply (UPS) technology since 2018-19 and the start of this partnership.
