Bordeaux: call for expressions of interest for stadium naming rights to be launched in September 2025

In September 2025, Bordeaux Métropole will launch a call for expressions of interest for the naming rights to the Stade Atlantique (42,115 capacity) via a contract with an "adjustable duration" (between three and five seasons), announced the local authority on 01/08/2025.

"The aim will be to build a flexible, modular, made-to-measure partnership, based on active collaboration between the stadium and the associated brand. The local authority will initiate discussions with local and national economic players likely to be involved in this projec," stated the intercommunal structure, which will offer its future partner "an economic base consisting of a fixed part and a variable part depending on the event revenues generated."

This announcement coincides with the expiry of the naming agreement between the stadium's former operator, SBA, and Matmut on 31/07/2025.
