Tennis: Ross Hutchins (GBR) leaves the ATP Tour to become CEO of the International Tennis Federation

Ross Hutchins has been appointed chief executive officer of the International Tennis Federation on 04/08/2025. He will take up his post "at the end of October 2025."

The Briton will thus be leaving the post of chief sporting officer of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he has held since April 2024. "Formerly a professional tennis player, Olympian, Davis Cup player and tournament director (Queen's Club Championships, from 2013 to 2014), Hutchins has held various executive level roles at the ATP Tour over the past 11 years and will bring vast knowledge and experience to the ITF," according to the body based in London (ENG), like the ATP.

"As CEO, he will oversee the ITF's strategic direction, operations, and global development work. He will also lead the continued growth of the World Cup of Tennis events Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup, as well as the ITF's management of tennis and wheelchair tennis at the Olympics and Paralympics and the qualification pathways for both events," added the ITF, whose entire competitive professional circuit will be placed under Ross…
