2025-26 Ligue 2 BKT: broadcast in full on beIN SPORTS with scheduling adjustments

EA Guingamp - Le Mans FC, the first game of the 2025-26 Ligue 2 BKT season, will be broadcast live and exclusively on the pay-TV channel beIN SPORTS 1 in France on Saturday 09/08/2025 (kick-off at 14:00 CET).

beIN SPORTS France is the sole broadcaster of the second division for the 2025-26 season. The Qatari group's subsidiary acquired the full and exclusive TV rights to the competition for the 2024-2029 cycle (five seasons) on 25/06/2024,. These rights were acquired for €40m per season, according to the French sports daily L'Équipe.

The first year of the contract was marked by conflict with some fans over the scheduling of the multiplex on Friday evenings at 20:00 (compared with Saturdays at 19:00 over the 2021-2024 cycle, broadcast on Amazon's Prime Video platform), a choice that made it difficult for them to organise their travel. The dissatisfaction sometimes led to acts of violence (use of lasers, damage to OB vans, banners, invective), particularly against beIN staff and production equipment.
