Formula One Group: a fourfold increase in net profit ($404m) in the first half of 2025

Formula One Group, the company that owns the rights to and organises the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, generated a net profit of $404m (€344.6m) at the end of the first half of 2025 (from 01/01 to 30/06/2025), four times more than in the first six months of 2024 ($101m/€94.2m), according to Liberty Media, the American group that owns Formula 1, on 07/08/2025.

While the number of Grands Prix contested in the first half of 2024 and 2025 remained stable (11 races), turnover rose by 14% year-on-year to $1.629bn (€1.39bn), of which $1.351bn (€1.15bn, +12%) represented the combined revenue from TV rights, sponsorship and race promoters.

The second quarter of 2025 (from 01/04 to 30/06/2025), during which nine races were organised (compared with eight in 2024), was particularly buoyant for the group, with turnover up 40.7% to $1.226bn (€1.04bn).
