Sponsorship: major changes for Premier League clubs for the 2025-26 season

With eight clubs under contract, two more than in the 2024-25 season, adidas is the most represented equipment supplier among the nine brands partnered with the 20 clubs that comprise the 2025-26 Premier League (compared with eight in 2024-25).

The German brand is ahead of its American rival Nike, which has a contract with three clubs. Five equipment suppliers are committed to a single Premier League club for the 2025-26 season. Among them, however, the German group Puma has the most lucrative equipment supplier contract in the English league with Manchester City FC (€105m a year), ahead of adidas' new agreement with Liverpool FC.

The 2024-25 Premier League champions have signed a 10-year contract with the German brand (2025-2035), following five seasons with Nike (2020-2025). The change means that Liverpool will double the amount they receive from their equipment supplier agreement, from £30m a year paid by the American brand to £60m (€71.5m) a year from adidas.
