France: DAZN acquires rights to the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie (Netherlands) for the 2025-26 season

DAZN has acquired the broadcasting rights to the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie in France for the 2025-26 season from the Eredivisie, announced the British OTT platform on 08/08/2025, on the eve of the launch of the 2025-26 Dutch top flight season. The agreement was reached with IMG, the agency responsible for marketing the Eredivisie's international media rights since 2000 and until 2029-30.

DAZN will offer its subscribers three games with French commentary on each matchday of the competition, "featuring the Eredivisie's leading clubs: AFC Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord Rotterdam". The platform will also broadcast a fourth match, "on certain matchdays" in English.

The VriendenLoterij Eredivisie, a European league ranked 6^th in the UEFA rankings as of 12/08/2025, was not broadcast in France in 2024-25.
