Borussia Dortmund: record revenues (excl. transfers) of €526m (+3%) & a net profit of €6.5m in 2024-25

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) posted a record turnover (excluding transfers) of €526m in the 2024-25 financial year (01/07/2024 to 30/06/2025), up 3,3% on 2023-24 (€509.1m), announced the club on 15/08/2025. However, BVB's posted revenues including transfers fees of €589.6m, down 7.7% compared with 2023-24 (€639m).

Borussia Dortmund posted a positive net result for the third season running, with a profit of €6.5m (compared with €44.3m in 2023-24 and €9.6m in 2022-23). These figures for the 2024-25 season can be explained in particular by BVB's run in the Champions League, where they reached the quarter-finals (eliminated by FC Barcelona, LALIGA EA Sports) in the first edition of the new competition, during which they played seven home games (compared with six in 2023-24, a season in which the club was defeated in the final).

BVB's participation in the Club World Cup 2025 also guarantees €33.9m in revenue for the 2024-25 financial year, while revenue from the round of 16 (02/07) and the quarter-final (05/07, eliminated by Real Madrid CF, LALIGA EA Sports) will be booked for the…
