FC Inter Milan: president Giuseppe Marotta becomes a minority shareholder "close to 2%"

Giuseppe Marotta, president of FC Inter Milan (Serie A Enilive), has become a minority shareholder of the club with a stake "close to 2%," announced Inter on 17/08/2025.

"A year into Marotta’s presidency (since 04/06/2024), both he and funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. have decided to consolidate their successful partnership. Marotta’s investment reflects his commitment to Inter and his shared vision and fully aligned long-term goals with Oaktree for the benefit of the club and its ongoing development," said Inter Milan.

The Italian, who joined the club as CEO sport in December 2018, had been promoted to president after Oaktree Capital Management, L.P became the owner of Inter Milan on 22/05/2024.

"During the 2024-25 season, the collaboration between Giuseppe Marotta and Oaktree outlined a multi-year strategic plan aimed at guaranteeing the club's stability, solid financial results and Inter's success on and off the pitch."
