Premier League: a giant Puma ball crosses Tower Bridge on the River Thames to kick off the 2025-26 season

Puma has activated its partnership with the Premier League for the launch of the 2025-26 English top-flight season, the first under the new contract between both parties, on 12/08/2025.

The operation, named "The biggest goal ever" and designed by the agencies Dude London and OK COOL, saw the staging of a giant 10.5-metre diameter inflatable ball, which was a replica of the design used in the 2025-26 Premier League.

Placed on a floating platform, this ball travelled down the River Thames in London (UK), towed by a ship steered by Morgan Rogers, an England international and Aston Villa FC (Premier League) player. After a 13km river parade watched by spectators from the banks, "Rogers helped strike the ball through Tower Bridge to score the first goal of the season," said Puma.

The German brand has become the official ball supplier for all Premier League matches from the 2025-26 season, as part of an agreement made official on 17/03/2025. Puma replaced Nike, which had been supplying the English top flight balls for 25 consecutive seasons (2000-01 to 2024-25).
