2025-26 DFB-Pokal: over €75m to be distributed in total, including €10.88m to the winning club

DFB GmbH & Co KG (a trading company and wholly-owned subsidiary of the DFB) has adopted the revenue distribution formula for the 2025-26 DFB-Pokal. The amounts are more or less identical to those for 2024-25: almost €68m will be distributed from the first round (64 clubs) to the semi-finals, plus €7.2m for the final of the German Cup (€4.32m to the winners and €2.88m to the other finalists), announced the German Football Association on 18/08/2025.

Amounts distributed to each participating club:
• First round (64 clubs): €211,886
• Second round (32): €423,772
• Round of 16 (16): €847,544
• Quarter-finals (8): €1,695,088
• Semi-finals (4) : €3,390,175
• Losing finalists (1): €2.88m
• Winners (1): €4.32m

These bonuses are cumulative for each round: the winning club will therefore receive a total of €10.88m and the club beaten in the final €9.44m.

64 clubs take part in the first round of the 2025-26 DFB-Pokal:
• 18 clubs from the 2024-25 Bundesliga,
• 18 clubs from the 2024-25 2. Bundesliga,
• 21 winners of the 2024-25 Regional Cups,
• the top four from the 2024-25 3.Liga,
