2025-26 Serie A Enilive: all you need to know about the 20 clubs in the Italian top flight

SSC Napoli, champions of Italy in 2024-25, will be putting their title back on the line from Saturday 23/08/2025, when the 2025-26 Serie A Enilive season kicks off.

FC Inter Milan, second in 2024-25, Atalanta BC, third, and Juventus FC (fourth) will join Napoli in the league phase of the Champions League. AS Roma (5^th) and Bologna FC 1909 (9^th, but winners of the Coppa Italia) have qualified for the league phase of the Europa League, while ACF Fiorentina (6^th) face FC Polissya Zhytomyr (Ukrainian First League) in the Conference League play-offs on 21/08 (first leg) and 28/08 (second leg), with participation in the league phase at stake.

The three promoted clubs taking part in the 124^th edition of the Italian top flight are US Cremonese, Pisa Sporting Club and US Sassuolo. Sassuolo were relegated to the Serie BKT at the end of the 2023-24 season, while Cremonese last competed in the first division in 2022-23. Pisa, meanwhile, will be returning to the Serie A after a 34-year absence (1990-91).
