Tennis: $18.3m in profits from the 9 ATP Masters 1000 tournaments in 2024 to be distributed to players

"$18.3m (€15.6m) will be distributed to players based on performance at the ATP Masters 1000s in 2024 - a bonus of 25% on top of base prize money already paid at those events," announced the Association of Tennis Professionals on 14/08/2025.

Introduced in 2022 as part of the ATP's OneVision strategic plan, the revenue sharing system divides the profits generated by the nine ATP Masters 1000 tournaments equally between players and organisers (50-50), in addition to the prize money, in order to "to align the financial interests of players and tournaments."

The $18.3m represents an increase of 2.7 times the bonus paid over the 2023 season ($6.6m/€6m). "$18.3m is a huge milestone. For us, it's proof that strengthening the premium product and aligning interests creates value," said Andrea Gaudenzi, president of the ATP.

The remuneration received by ATP players in 2024 will thus reach a record $261m (€223m) and $378m (€323m) if the prize money for the men's draw of the four Grand Slam tournaments is included.
