Tennis: partnership between the ATP & TikTok to create content aimed at the next generation of fans

TikTok, a Chinese social network, has entered into a "strategic global content partnership" with the Association of Tennis Professionals on 19/08/2025.

The aim of this collaboration is to offer "compelling ATP athlete and tennis content to Gen Z and Millennial fans through creator collaborations and innovative content," explained the body, whose TikTok account dedicated to the ATP Tour had nearly 600,000 followers as of 20/08/2025. Through this partnership dedicated to the fan experience, the ATP aims to attract new audiences and strengthen "the links between the ATP Tour, its players and tournaments, and the global fan community."

The partnership focuses on two main areas:
• "player engagement, helping more ATP athletes build a presence on TikTok and giving fans exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the sport;
• the Tennis Creator Network, identifying and enabling TikTok creators to produce compelling content across ATP Masters 1000s and other ATP Tour events."
