Real Madrid CF - Club Atletico Osasuna (1-0), on Matchday 1 of the 2025-26 LALIGA EA Sports season, drew an average of 738,000 viewers on the pay-TV channel DAZN LALIGA in Spain on Tuesday 19/08/2025 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Kantar. This figure represented an audience share of 8.4%.

RCD Espanyol - Club Atlético de Madrid (2-1), another game on the opening matchday, drew 263,000 viewers on the pay-TV channel Movistar LALIGA (Telefonica Group) on Sunday 17/08/2025 (kick-off at 21:30 CET), according to Kantar data. Audience share: 2.9%.

It should be noted that Mediapro will no longer be co-broadcasting any matches free-to-air on its free DTT channel Gol from 2025-26. The Spanish group had acquired the rights to one game per matchday "for less than €14m" (according to the Spanish media) over the 2022-2025 cycle only.
