Girona FC: health, inclusion, education & sustainability, priorities for the club's new Foundation

Girona FC (LALIGA EA Sports) will present its new Foundation, "a long-term project created with the aim of consolidating, structuring, and expanding the club's social commitment" on 09/09, announced the club on 18/08/2025.

"The Fundació Girona FC (Girona FC Foundation) will focus its efforts on four main areas:
• education in values;
• the promotion of health and well-being;
• social inclusion and cohesion;
• sustainability."

"The new entity will be the main instrument through which all social initiatives will be managed, beyond those already being developed in various areas, such as the Genuine team (people with cognitive disabilities) or youth football," explained the club, while "special attention" will be paid "to young people, who will be the primary focus of many of its initiatives."
